The first thing that caught my attention about a lemur was its captivating stare. The longer I observed it, the more I realized those watchful eyes reflected an animal that is constantly aware of its surroundings, relying on curiosity and alertness to thrive. That quiet presence is what inspired Silent Observer: A Lemur’s Stare, celebrating the beauty of slowing down, paying attention, and truly seeing the world around us.
WILDLIFE FACT
Lemurs communicate using scent as much as sound. Some species leave scent marks on branches and even engage in “stink fights,” waving their scented tails to establish territory and attract mates.
