The Story Behind this Piece
I’ve always been fascinated by the contrast in a lioness’s nature. The same jaws she uses to hunt with incredible strength become gentle enough to carry her cub without causing harm. That balance of fierce protection and unconditional love inspired this drawing. It is my tribute to the extraordinary strength and tenderness of motherhood.
WILDLIFE FACT
Lionesses do most of the hunting for the pride, often working together to surround prey and improve their chances of success.
